Sayed Nabil Abbas

His Excellency Sayed Nabil Hussein Abbas is a distinguished Shi’a Muslim scholar and religious leader in Canada. He studied under the esteemed Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, from whom he gained deep religious and jurisprudential knowledge. He serves as:
– The representative of the Supreme Islamic Council of Canada.
– Represents the Supreme Jurisprudential Court in Kudna, acting as its legal guardian.
– For the Shi’a Muslim community, he is regarded as a close emissary of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani and also serves as an accredited agent of additional high-ranking religious authorities.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Council of Muslim Scholars in North America and has been the Imam of the Lebanese Islamic Center in Montreal since 1990, offering decades of spiritual leadership and community service.
